Longtime buddies and good friends Cary Kresge and David Olson, from The Fly Shop of Miami, met up with Capt.Greg to fish the Louisiana Marsh. Fly Water Expeditions, Captain Greg, never seems to let weather stop him from showing his fly fishing pals a good time on the pond. The day called for crummy weather conditions, but despite the forecast, the guys went out and landed 12 redfish, 5 blackdrum and Cary finished with a 32lb redfish, all on fly. Although the weather wasn’t the greatest, the water was clean enough they could see some fish. Captain Greg and the guys from The Fly Shop of Miami ended up turning a dark sky into a bright day of fly fishing. I have a feeling there is some “all around” good luck brewing in Louisiana…. great fishing days on the water and the New Orleans Saints going to the Superbowl, you tell me.
