In my last post about “Team” BoldWater I mentioned our love of good friends and food. Derek, Gary, Alden, Cory and Marlin Redwine enjoyed some downtime with Rhett Fischer (Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar, Port Canaveral-FL).  Rhett and Derek are longtime friends who also love to help each other’s business grow and succeed. BoldWater is honored to have such a down to earth friend, like Rhett. We created a few t-shirt designs over the years that are hot sellers at the restaurant and the shirt re-orders remain steady, which is a gratifying feeling for  Derek being the artist. In August 2008, Derek had his first solo art exhibit at Rusty’s Seafood and the turn out was remarkable for both the show and the restaurant.  It was thanks to the push of Rhett that made Derek show off his talent.

Marlin & Raleigh

Often times our lives get busy and we have few and far between visits with the friends we cherish the most.  So it’s always the BoldWater way to document those moments when they do happen and share the good times. The Redwines had Rhett over for a little fishing off the backyard dock, good wine, doggie playtime and yummy seafood pasta while catching up on life. Raleigh(Rhett’s hunt terrier) and Marlin(the Redwines rat terrier), had the most fun of all the bunch.  The two pups became instant best friends and happily entertained the entire crew throughout the evening.

As everyone knows, businesses all over have felt some impact with the economy… even the best of the best. Although times are up and down, it’s your friends who keep you motivated and encouraged. BoldWater would like to thank one of those friends and business owners for the business you give us and the referrals you send us.  We appreciate Rhett and his team over at Rusty’s Seafood. Thank you!

Check out the BoldWater designed t-shirts at Rusty’s Seafood & Oyster Bar, located in Port Canaveral, Florida!!!!  Enjoy the entertainment and food while looking out on the water!

BoldWater is well aware that a happy life equals hanging with family, keeping quality friends and enjoying life each day.  For the Redwine’s and all around them that means fishing, eating good food and laughing at ourselves throughout our shenanigans.  Derek Redwine, is all about documenting the life of his family and friends so that he can share with those who take pleasure in doing the same.  So he created TribenWater a few years back, which is a friendly and family oriented forum.  TribenWater has been a great tool for many people or families that spend most of their spare time outdoors and on the water to post those moments.

Having a family forum that is kid friendly is a wonderful place where people can come together to chat, get answers to their questions, access and discuss information. BoldWater is huge on teaching the next generation to respect the water and their other surroundings. We want to be a part of preserving what we have, but also building strong bonds with the people who share our same interests.

We encourage you to spend some time on TribenWater and hopefully share some of your stories. You will become part of a fun, educational and supportive community. Remember, forums are public. Anything you post is being read by everyone else on the forum. Never post anything you don’t want made public.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to peruse through our BoldWater website and our family forum TribenWater!!!!

13945_1255427512993_1448739664_725784_4605044_nDerek Redwine, owner  of BoldWater and Sam Root with Salty Shores met up with Greg Dini (Fly Water Expeditions) in Venice, Louisiana to do some fishing this week. The guys had one little concern- Tropical Storm Ida stirring up some unpleasant and non-fishable weather, but they remained optimistic.  After arriving, the first day was stormy with 30 mph winds which forced them to find something other than fishing to keep them occupied.  The day wasn’t wasted as Derek, Sam, Greg and crew visited the local aquarium after adding in some work hours while the weather wouldn’t submit.   Day two was when the fun began, it seems that the sun decided it was time to shine and the water wanted to keep calm so it was go time. From the pictures taken by Sam Root (Salty Shores) and the smile on Derek’s face… Greg put them on some good Louisiana fishing spots.

Derek worked with Greg Dini on his new website and ever since they knew there was a Louisiana fishing trip that needed to be lined up.  All these guys share two common bonds, fishing and fishing forums. So it was no surprise to Derek’s wife Cory, or myself as his assistant, that he made immediate plans to meet our client/owner of Fly Water Expeditions.  Of course, the team would not have been complete without Sam and his amazing ability to capture a great fish photo.

I’m sure there will be more fish stories to add later , but this is all I have for now. Please enjoythe  photos taken by Salty Shores, Sam  and check out the Fly Water Expeditions website designed by BoldWater.

image003BoldWater is highly known for the attention to detail when drawing images, especially anything marine life.  Derek Redwine, (owner/designer) has had this incredible eye for creativity and  passion to explore outdoor life and fish since he was little.  Now as a father, he tries to pass his knowledge onto his son Alden by exploring all of natures habitats while mom Cory, captures photos of them. When spending family time on the river or out in the deep blue ocean, they discuss and explore everything in the water and on land.  The constant adventures aren’t just bonding moments, but the daily experiences help Derek keep a fresh creative mind. He and his family will spend hours studying the characteristics and anatomy  of each living thing in its own natural environment or  structure of anything non-living.   This is what makes him so good at re-creating elements or images close to their true form.  These explorations have been the key catalyst for BoldWater’s stock image gallery.  Derek created an art gallery specifically to license out images for one time usage.

The BoldWater stock art gallery is filled with mainly a variety of inshore and offshore fish. So if you are looking for something stock or custom, please give us a call at 321-868-5090 x 16 or check out our website.

1bBoldWater, would like for you to check out the latest fishing guide site designed for Reel Job Sportfishing.  Captain Mike Gulick has been running around on the waters of Florida since he was in kindergarten.  Since he is a native to Florida, his first trips started on the fresh waters of Central Florida fishing for bass and specks.  As he grew into his teen years, he realized this could not be a weekend hobby and started the plan for his future fishing guide business.

He eventually moved over towards the Space Coast area to be on the water as much as possible, learning about the best spots which led him to officially open Reel Job Sportfishing.   He prides himself on being honest to his clients as to what the current bite is and he will give 100% with putting you on that bite.  Capt. Mike is all about making each trip a pleasant experience, so we are sure you will book with him every time.

The BoldWater team is always happy to work, fish and socialize with Capt. Mike and his family.   Book a trip with him, you too will see just how fun and memorable he makes your trip experience.

Relentless-logoTeam BoldWater and  Captain Scott Bussen with Relentless II out of Port Canaveral, Florida, have been friends and long time fishing crew for several years. So if you are a local or just visiting from out of town, you should book with Relentless II Offshore Adventures.  Captain Scott Bussen  has over two decades experience of fishing offshore of the Space Coast. He continues to provide his clients with a great day of family fishing and fun on the water.

relentless-collageHis 36’ Torres is an extremely spacious, stable boat to spend a day fishing and relaxing in the Florida sun. Well-equipped with the latest electronics and USCG safety equipment, the Relentless II has a reputation for bringing in the fish.

Although he’s earned a Bachelors Degree from UCF, that degree doesn’t hold a candle to the knowledge he has gained throughout the thousands of days on the water. It is this knowledge and experience that gives him the ability to fish for nearly anything that swims off the Central Florida coast.

To find out more information, Capt. Scott invites you to browse his website and give him a call. We’ll see you on the water!
